This full interior upgrade of a 4 bedroom home along California’s central coast in San Luis Obispo, CA adds modern elements, unique design features, and bright interior spaces that stay honest to the home’s roots. In addition to design and finish selections, Pristereo assisted the Owner in selecting all fixtures, appliances, and hardware.

A new bright and light kitchen with natural finishes and large window openings contains a central island with custom metal work. With the island serving as the communal focus of the space, the home’s owners will have the flexibility of everyday use coupled with the ability to host family and friends.

Custom metalwork and dark reveals complement the natural finish palette chosen for the interior spaces. The home's kitchen will also serve as a communal space for family events and celebrates the home's surrounding natural environment.

The living room refresh modernizes a double-sided fireplace with muted natural tiles. A wetbar located near the exterior courtyard caters to family gatherings. Interior sliding doors clad in wood allow spaces to expand and contract.

A custom-built wood and metal screen divides a bonus room into separate spaces and allows natural light to flow between them. A refreshed bath and shower space was designed to utilize every inch of available area.

Custom framed glass panels at the master bathroom allow existing plumbing to be utilized and open up the space for a resort-like feel. Wood touches and a folding shower bench complement the glass and metal elements.
